Clive started DJing way back in 1976 at the height of the disco boom as a mobile DJ. After 9 years on the road, in 1985 he joined one of the very first UK community stations, Radio Thamesmead in South East London.

He was trained in news room editing, news reading before going onto his broadcast studio tech training. Clive was soon presenting regular shows on RTM before he was approached by London’s legendary FM pirate soul station LWR. He became a regular voice on the London Pirate Radio soul scene through to 1989.

Clive has also been a regular voice on several commercial radio stations in the east of England and was also a broadcast advisor to the Royal Air Force when they were setting up their own base radio station, he trained several on-air DJs in presenting techniques and teaching the desk and studio. Clive has also been the drive time presenter on local FM community stations. His real love is 70s and 80s jazz funk and soul and he now brings his weekly show to us here at GDR with the Global Radio Soul and Funk Show.
