Ginger Tom

I’ve been a music fan for as long as I can remember – my dad has an extensive vinyl collection and I loved nothing more than sifting through his records and blasting them out on his solid state hi-fi system. I really got into the dance scene in the mid nineties and after cutting my teeth on some belt driven decks, I spent one of my year’s student loans on a pair of Technics 1210’s which have never let me down.

My first ‘gig’ at university nearly 30 years ago earned me a cool £40, so my girlfriend and I (now wife, so I must have made a good impression!) splashed out on a slap-up curry, music and food, a match made in heaven!

I love many different genres of music, if it’s a good tune, it deserves to get played. I’ve know The Promised Land’s very own Craig Davids for many years and we’ve spun the decks together on numerous occasions, he has given me the inspiration to have a crack myself, so I hope you’ll join me on my show ‘Ginger Tom’s Bucket List’ monthly on Sundays  10:00-12:00 GMT playing a very eclectic mix of music with Soul at it’s core.
