Growing up my early introduction into music was through my mum constantly listening to Duran Duran, Madonna and other 80’s artists along with dad listening to the likes of Mike & The Mechanics and Phil Collins.

Over time being at school & the area that I grew up in, I eventually got introduced to more Urban music like Hip-Hop RnB and Garage and loved it! The first album I bought was 50 Cent’s “Get Rich or Die Tryin” in 2003 and it got rinsed every day! Early into my teens I was introduced to the British Urban music scene listening to the likes of Dizzee Rascal, So Solid Crew, Wiley, More Fire Crew, Kano, & Roll Deep. Eventually the sound of Grime really captured my ears I became hooked on it, especially with the emergence of Channel U, and that’s where my story really starts.

Whilst at school during a music class, we had a set of decks and I jumped on them and got that DJ bug, I also tried my hand as an MC but didn’t know what was worse as I couldn’t blend two songs together!

I hadn’t touched the decks again for some time, but fast forward to 2017, and I started going with my DJ friend, DJ Shock to his private bookings which included Weddings, Birthday Parties and other celebration events, and the DJ bug hit me again. In January 2021 I bought my own equipment, and I am now playing in bars and other events, so my musical journey and education continues.

I have now decided that Radio is an avenue that I want to explore, and Gold Dust Radio seems to be the perfect platform for me to gain experience and bring people the music I love listening to and will share it with the world!

My show will be bringing you nothing but the best in UK Urban music I.e., Grime, Rap, classic RnB, Garage and Funky House together with guest mixes from friends, unknown talented DJs, and featured artists.

Catch the show fortnightly on Fridays 17:00 GMT.
